Please email your suggestion to events@animalsfirstfoundation.org. We'll be sure to consider your suggestion, and if it reflects our mission, we'll be sure to include it here in our events section!

Show Your Support Against Foie Gras at Lark Restaurant: EVERY FRIDAY 7-8PM

When:       EVERY Friday until they remove foie gras from their menu
Time:
7:00pm - 8:00pm
Where:
     Lark Restaurant
Address:   926 12th Ave, Seattle (map)

Questions:  E-mail volunteer@narn.org

What is foie gras?
Foie gras is an extremely cruel product. It is produced by force-feeding ducks and geese, causing their livers to expand to several times their normal size. Long metal pipes are shoved down their throats and a large volume of corn mash is pumped into their stomachs. This results in debilitating pain for the birds and a mortality rate so high that many of the birds never make it to slaughter.

Do any restaurants in Seattle sell foie gras?
There are several restaurants in Seattle that serve foie gras. The Northwest Animal Rights Network (NARN) is currently only publishing the contact information of restaurants that have met with their representatives and refused to remove this inhumane dish from their menu.

The following restaurants support animal cruelty by serving foie gras:

LARK at 926 12th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122. (206) 323-5275: Chef Sundstrom

CRUSH at 2319 E. Madison Street, Seattle, WA 98112. (206) 30-CRUSH: Chef Jason Wilson

35TH ST BISTRO at 709 N. 35th St., Seattle, WA 98103. (206) 547-9850

SEATTLE CAVIAR COMPANY at 2833 Eastlake Ave. E, Seattle, WA 98102. (206) 323-3005

How can you help end the cruel force-feeding of ducks and geese?

♥ Attend a demonstration against a restaurant that serves foie gras. Check out NARN's calendar to see when the next one is scheduled.

♣ Call, e-mail, or visit the chef of a restaurant that serves foie gras and politely ask him or her to reconsider including this inhumane dish on the menu.
