Volunteering requires a personal commitment of your time and a serious look within yourself in terms of your own wants and needs. It also requires a thorough understanding and support of Animals First Foundation's policies and beliefs.

Non-profit groups, such as AFF, rely on the hard work and dedication of their volunteers. Whether it’s just for an afternoon, or on a regular basis, the time you contribute is very much needed and truly appreciated.

You will help prepare the animals in starting a new life. They are exposed to new faces, given playtime, shown affection, get socialized and make new friends. Giving of your time is a great learning opportunity and extremely satisfying knowing you are "making a difference in the lives of animals."

Volunteers are also needed who can assist with administrative work such as, fielding phone calls, lending a hand in various fundraising activities, etc. AFF will also train in doing reference and home checks - a very important and necessary part of the adoption process.

If you have a love for animals, a serious concern for their welfare, patience, and don't mind getting dirty - we want to hear from you!

Are you an administrative guru, a fundraising whiz, or all of the aforementioned, with a passion for animals and plenty of scathingly brilliant ideas on how to help?

Animals First Foundation needs you!

In return, you will be rewarded in the knowledge that your hard work made a difference in at least one animal's life, a feeling of accomplishment in contributing to the betterment and well-being of animals, a chance to learn new things or polish old skills, meet new people and so much more . . .
